Stony Point Penguins

Stony Point is the ideal location to get close to sea birds, especially the African penguins. Meander along the walkway and you'll notice penguins interacting, sleeping or generally getting on with their day. Nestled in Betty's Bay, the old whaling station is now a sanctuary for not only penguins but also birds. A must see!

Betty's Bay Botanical Gardens

This beautiful garden is in the heart of the coastal fynbos, a dedication to this natural shrubland. The garden encompasses sweeping mountain slopes, deep gorges, waterfalls and amber pools.  Nature trails meander up through the garden and also the reserve through fern forests leading up to waterfalls. Leopards are rare but have been spotted whilst mongooses. otters, dassies and baboons are more frequently seen. Worth a visit!
